Blackouts in Cuba shut down NICUs, operating rooms, and clean water. Vital Illumination is pioneering clean, resilient energy using solar, wind, battery and hydrogen storage. Our Santiago de Cuba pilot project will equip four hospitals and priority pumps with reliable power and then reinvest to expand the power to adjacent neighborhoods, bringing stable power to up to 500,000 people.
